BLLS School Examination
Examinations will be conducted four times in one academic year:
CA-I, Term I, CA-II and Term II.
Dates
of the four examinations will be announced at the beginning of each academic year. CA-I,
term I, CA-II and term II/preliminary examinations shall be held no later than the 3rd
week of February, 2nd week of May, 2nd week of August and the 1st
week of October, respectively. In each case, two weeks before the examination, the
examination week and the week after will be treated as examination period.
Weight
age for each examination is given in Table 2.
Make-up will be arranged in the
event a student is absent from any examination for a valid reason. Under exceptional
circumstances, the Chairman, in consultation with class teacher, may grant exemption from
examination.

Examination results will be made
available to the parents and the local schools.
Promotion Criteria
Pass marks and the
criteria for promotion, in relation to second language, will be the same as those
practiced by the local schools.

Final score for the whole year will be the weighted average of the marks scored in the CA
and term examinations. The weight ages are given in Table
